Blood Mages are healers who use their own "blood" (i.e. health) and the blood of mobs to heal others. and have magic lifetaps to replenish their own. They to have the ability to convert health into mana ("Mental Transmutation") and can absorb a fraction of damage directed at their defensive target.

Blood Union

Blood Union is a measure of how bonded a Blood Mage is with their offensive target. The higher the blood union is, the more a blood mage deals in damage. Some heals are also increased by the current blood union.

If you switch offensive targets, the Blood Union levels are lost and you have to begin building them up again on your new target.

The blood union is indicated by a counter next to the offensive target window.

The Blood Mage has three stances, called focuses.
